MCSA Open Fall Championship

Saturday, November 4:

Day 1 of MCSA Open Fall Championship began with an early morning postponement. A Fleet attempted a race but wind dropped to 0.0 knots and races were abandoned.

After lunch, the weather cooperated, with breeze ranging from the North - Northwest, 6 to 15.6 knots, with the average wind speed around 8. Race committee was complimentary of teams' sportsmanship on the water. Sailors were competitive, with one general and a few individual recalls, however each team turned back to clear themselves. RC stayed on top of the shifts and set a great course right off the docks.

We ended Day 1 with four races for A fleet and four races for B fleet.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
