MCSA Open Fleet Racing Championship

Summary

Saturday, April 15:

Today started out tue Fleet Race portion of the weekend. We experienced a wide variety of conditions, with the wind being very shifty and volatile. The wind velocity oscillated from below race minimum to gusts over 20 knots - keeping our sailors, race officials, and mark-set boats on their toes. We are hoping for another great day of racing tomorrow.

Sunday, April 16:

We concluded our fleet race portion of the weekend today and were able to get off three races in each A and B divisions. The wind was coming from the west, and started pretty light at around 5 knots, but then built to a steady 10 knots gusting 12. Sailors sailed through rain, but we were still able to get some great racing in. We would again like to thank our amazing team of officials that helped make this weekend possible, including PRO Scott Corder, scorekeeper Lisa Corder, and our umpires Geoff Pedrick and John Porter.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
