Conditions were tricky on the Charles today. The breeze was very shifty all day, staying in the mid teens with puffs hitting the 20s. After a 10:30 dock call, racing began just after 11:00. The conditions lead to several spectacular capsizes and a few breakdowns. 8 races were completed in A division while 10 were completed in B and C. Several protests were heard resulting in two disqualifications. One bye was awarded due to a boat malfunction. Thank you to the MIT dock staff for assisting with several breakdowns. Dock call will be 9:30 AM tomorrow with racing to begin at 10:15.
Sunday brought very different conditions, with barely enough breeze to start races for most of the day. Racing began on time at 10:15 AM and continued until 2:00 PM. Due to several big shifts, there were minor delays to adjust the course. 6 races were completed in A division while 4 were completed in B and C, bringing the total to 14 each. Congratulations to Boston College for winning the 72nd Greater Boston Oberg Trophy.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
