Today brought beautiful conditions for sailboat racing here in Wisconsin. We had very variable conditions today with 6-12 kts out of the ESE with lots of shifts for sailors to deal with. 8 races were sailed in each division with rotations getting off quickly and smoothly. At the end of the day, Wisco is in the lead with Minnesota, Milwaukee, Michigan and Washington University in the remaining qualifying spots. We look forward to the last 3 races in each division tomorrow morning!
Today brought low winds to Madison. One A division race was started, but the wind cut out midway through and the race was abandoned. The boats stayed on the water for another hour in the hopes of starting a race, but the wind never filled. We would like to thank our judges, Dennis Bartley, Tom Atkins and Fields Gunsett as well as Peter Harken for allowing us to use his power boat. Congratulations to UW-Madison, University of Minnesota, UW-Milwaukee, Michigan and Washington University on qualifying for Semi-finals!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
