The eight SAISA Match Racing Teams were greeted with a strong 14 kt WNW breeze that varied throughout the day. The Race Committee was able to complete the entire Stage 1 Round Robin with the following top 4 Teams advancing to the Semi’s on Sun: First - Charleston Second - Jacksonville Third - Miami Fourth - NC State
Sunday greeted the top 4 Teams from the Stage 1 Round Robin which consisted of Charleston, Jacksonville, Miami and NC State with an initial soft southerly that quickly built to a very nice 10-15kt SSW breeze. The Race Committee ran a great Semi-Final round-robin and in the end Jacksonville ended up in boat 1 for the Finals and Charleston ended up in boat 2 for the Finals. The first to three Finals between the top two Teams went to a full five race contest and in the end it was the CofC Cougars on top and will represent SAISA at the College Match Race National Championship Nov 3-5, 2023 hosted by the CofC.
