Yale Women's Interconference

Summary

Saturday, October 22:

It was a fantastic day for golf! No wind all day in Granite Bay. A southeasterly filled in around 3:00pm with an A-Division start at 3:20pm. 3 minutes later the wind died and the race was abandoned. The bay quickly glassed over and after a bit of a wait the fleets were sent in for the final time at 4:10. Tyler Colvin is serving as the ICSA rep and is doing a fantastic job! A-Division will sail FJ's on Sunday with B in Z420's. 10:00am first start.

Sunday, October 23:

Racing began promptly at 10am to get as many races as possible. The breeze was about 10 knots from the NNE and pretty steady. By the last set the breeze had dropped off to around 5 knots. Eight races were completed in both divisions today. Most courses were W4's. Three W5's were sailed when the boats headed in for lunch or at the end of the day. Harvard came away with the victory over Stanford by 7 points. Many thanks to Tyler Colvin for serving as the ICSA rep. There were no protests or breakdowns.

And it was not a good day for golf......

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
