After a slow start to the day with only one race being scored in a dying NW breeze and 90 degree shifts, the Salt Pond finally delivered. Sailors made their way to the race course after a quick lunch break to find a SSE breeze around 10-12kts with minimal change in direction throughout the nine remaining races. After settling in the URI Rams proved dominant on their home waters, collectively taking the top three podium finishes in multiple races, with Northeastern hot on their trails the entire day. After ten W4 races, nine of which sailed within 4 hours, RC took a poll and elected to finalize the regatta given the upcoming holiday and the limitation of twelve races total for the event.
Congratulations to URI Rams 1 & Rams 2 for a commanding performance taking top two combined, and to Northeastern for rounding out the podium. A big kudos to the URI squad who helped make this all happen. We look forward to seeing everyone again on April 29-30 for the Southern 7.
Regatta finished on Saturday.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
