College Sailing Open Eastern Semifinal

Summary

Tuesday, May 30:

Teams arrived to a brisk yet tapering Northeasterly breeze, and a ebb tide that built throughout the morning. Steady long oscillations and varying current across the race course made for some dynamic racing. PRO Kyle Assad ran 8 fantastic races in each Semifinal event, each consistently around 20 minutes -even as the breeze tapered and current switched towards the end of the day.

The UPenn Quakers and Harvard Crimson lead their respective Semifinals at the end of Day 1.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
