Racing was postponed briefly before a fickle, light westerly filled in. Racing was stopped as the wind shut off and spun around a couple times. PRO Robert Capita called for many course shifts during this time in an effort to be preemptively set for the next wind direction to fill in, which paid off heavily when a much more consistent 8-10 kt westerly filled in after an hour. Racing was able to continue as soon as the first puff hit, and crews were happy to be out of the hole and hiking. 4 races were sailed in A and 2 were sailed in B over the course of the day. Racing was close and competitive throughout the day. Thanks to the race committee for all their hard work setting square courses despite the fickle conditions of the day.
Racing was postponed briefly in the morning before a light southerly filled in. Sailors hit the water, only for the southerly to die and refill from the west. Similar to Saturday, this westerly held only for the start of 3B, before backing off to 1-2 knots as race 3B finished. However, sailors were greeted with an 8-10 knot consistent westerly for the rest of the day. This allowed us to complete 3 races in A and 5 races in B over the course of the day. Thanks to PRO Robert Capita and all the race committee volunteers for their hard work and congratulations to USC for winning the Jeff Simon Open!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
