Eighteen teams representing sixteen schools and four ICSA districts were greeted by a pleasant and mostly sunny spring day on the Charles.
An inconsistent west and sometimes north breeze averaged out at about 6 knots. Four B and five A races were completed around W4 racecourses. One protest was heard and disallowed.
Thanks to all competitors for your patience throughout the day. We will resume the event tomorrow with race 6A. Forecast is looking promising with a north-easterly around 10 kts in the morning.
A brisk north-easterly breeze greeted competitors for day two of racing at the George Morris Trophy. The more reliable, and yet still challenging oscilations made for close and tactical racing throughout the day. The rotation was completed through race 10B with an attempt at an 11th race before the wind completely shut off for the afternoon at 2:30pm.
