Windy day on the Mystic! Even with the late report time, we decided the puffs were a bit too much for the turbo larks and were in wind postponement until 1:30. We sailed 2 sets in A division and 1 set in B division, sailing around a port triangle to maximize reach planing and minimize death rolls (of which we still had quite a few!). No major breakdowns and good spirits all around.
Report time is 10:30 tomorrow to adjust for day light savings, and racing will start with B division.
The Mystic presented her challenges today with a few major course resets around midday, but we nonetheless completed 5 races in B and 3 in A for a total of 7 races over the weekend. Thank you to PRO Jack Duncan (Tufts '19) and undergrad helpers Juliana Testa '21, Charlotte Lenz '20, Abbie Carlson '22, Alex Talbot '22, and Jessica Friedman '22 for running a smooth regatta.
Congratulations to Tufts Jumbos 2 for a resounding victory with low-point totals in both divisions!
