Atlantic Coast Tournament

Summary

Saturday, October 21:

Day one of the Atlantic Coast Tournament held exactly true to forecast. The breeze was WNW at 10-18 with a very rare gust up to 30. Ten races were sailed in each division, with a divisional fleet swap after races eight. Five requests for redress were filed resulting in two redresses being awarded for breakdowns. Thank you to Jon Faudree, Mitch Brindley, Bill Johns, Sara Morgan Waters, and Arielle Darrow for hearing the redress requests. Four more races are scheduled for each division tomorrow in similar forecast conditions.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
