War Memorial

Summary

Saturday, October 29:

Sailors arrived to an unseasonably warm late October day in New York City and a light northeast breeze. the RC lead by PRO Jimmy Keegan '16 did a great job of getting racing off in challenging and shifty conditions. After race 7a the breeze shut off for the day and did not fill again.

1 Redress was heard that was denied and 1 boat took a RAF. Thank you to Morgan Collins Dillon Paiva and Janel Zarkowsky for serving as judges for the hearing.

Sunday, October 30:

Glass on the east river and western Long Island sound for day 2 of the War.

Unfortunately, the wind did not fill all day, and no racing was able to be completed.

Congratulations to St. Mary’s college for winning the 2022 War Memorial!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
