The current on the Thames River was ripping today, which caused the fleet to race to the relief on the left side. Many boats were getting friendly with the John Forsyth wreckage. Eight races were sailed in C and B divisions, 6 in A division. Report time is 9:30 on Sunday.
Racing resumed today in a mostly west wind, ranging from 4-15 knots. The first race was delayed due to a Thames River traffic jam, a massive barge passed by our start line. There were several general recalls due to the strong current and starting line being on the edge of the channel. The wind was extremely shifty and tricky. Thanks to the camel undergrads that helped with race committee.
