SAISA South Fall Tournament

Summary

Saturday, September 10:

Today, strong contingents from SAISA's top teams and up-and-coming convened in Winter Park, Fl. on the shores of Lake Virginia at Rollins College.

Across Florida, the past two weeks, weather was spotty at best. But the day surprised all involved with a light steady breeze from the south that filled-in and held steady the entire day - and rain that held off until all the sails were down and the boats in their bunks.

Two divisions put in a solid day of racing. USF won the event taking first and second place on the day while Embry Riddle took home the event's big prize - an automatic berth in SAISA's fall champs the last weekend of October.

A tip of the hat to all for the spirited and friendly competition - and a big congrats to Embry Riddle!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
