Open Atlantic Coast Tournament

Saturday, October 22:

Today competitors sailed in a nice, light to moderate southerly breeze, which filled in just before noon and stayed until just before sunset. The teams sailed nine races in each division, with A division sailing in FJs and B division sailing in 420s. There was a strong ebb current early on in the day which eased up as the day went. Thank you to the Connecticut College sailors who were on race committee today for putting on a great day of racing!

Sunday, October 23:

Competitors today sailed in much cooler, more challenging conditions today than yesterday. Although the breeze was a fairly steady five to 8 knots out of the north, sailors had to contend with a ripping current, which forced all competitors to drag race to the left side of the course in search of current relief entire day. Competitors sailed seven races in both A and B divisions today. Thank you to the Connecticut College Camels for putting on a great event this weekend!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
