Harman Trophy

Summary

Saturday, September 10:

Racing commenced around 1330 as the sea breeze finally made it to the head of Penobscot Bay. The fleet of 8 Colgates completed 4 races. Bowdoin was firmly in control after 3 bullets in the first 3 races, but Maine Maritime finally caught the slippery Polar Bears in the final race of the day, drawing within one point of the overall lead. The mid-fleet competition was very tight with URI, Tufts, and MMA 2 vying for 3rd place. Unfortunately there was no wind on Sunday, and everyone felt robbed of a second good day of competition. Thank you to all of the Waterfront Staff and volunteers that made this event a success! -Coach Patrick DiLalla

Sunday, September 11:

There was no wind on Sunday. Sailors played cornhole ashore until the regatta was called at 1200.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
