Sailors arrived on Saturday morning to a pleasant 8-10 knot S breeze. Racing got underway promptly at 10:00 A.M. and five races were completed before a short lunch break on shore. Unfortunately, a boat issue required one boat be removed, so the rotation was amended to minimize bye races per team. Racing got underway shortly after 1:00 in a solid 10-15 knot breeze. 10 full length races were completed by 3:15 so the teams and coaches agreed to push and finish the remaining four races and end the regatta on Saturday. The last two sets were sailed in a lighter and slightly shiftier southerly. A consistent breeze that required very few course changes and quick rotations enabled 14 races to be completed before 5:00 P.M. Many thanks to all who came and to Fordham sailors (Sam Johnsen '21, David Adipietro '23, Griffin Sisk '23, Mariana Carta '23, Emmy Longmore '23, and Maggie Costikyan '22) for helping run races. Congratulations to Kenny Corsig '23 and Declan Lombard '21 from Fordham for winning the Jesuit Invite.
