The conditions were ideal for Lake Hartwell. We started the first A fleet race around 10:45 with west wind at around 12 mph. It was flat water with shifty and gusty conditions. Each race was around 15 minutes long. Each set consisted of 3 races with the third race having an upwind finish. As the day went on, the wind was building and reached 15 mph with higher gusts. In the last B fleet set, the wind shifted to the right (towards the North) and the course was shifted to adjust for the wind change. Overall it was a great day on Hartwell and all the teams had a great time. Congratulations to College of Charleston for the win.
