St. Mary's Women's Interconference

Summary

Saturday, March 18:

After a week of windy, windy, windy, the regatta came and the breeze left town. Mid-day the wind filled from the N/NE enough to get in nine races (5A and 4B) W4 races. PRO Conner Blouin received assistance from graduates Allison Smith McFall and Cotton Kelley along with the Seahawks.

A division has two hearings that will start Sunday promptly at 9am: Race 3A - UPN vs CofC Race 5A - Redress filed by URI

Sunday, March 19:

Sailors were welcomed Sunday with snow flurries and a chilly northerly breeze. While A division dispensed with a couple of hearings, B went racing. All races were W-4's sailed in Northerly breezes of 5-15 knots. PRO Conner Blouin kept the mark set boat busy trying to keep up with the shifts. Thanks to John Mollicone, Greg Wilkinson, Bill Healy, Max Plarr, Reed Johnson, Skip White, Janel Zarkowski & Ward Cromwell for hearing protests. Worth noting that CofC was reinstated in race 3A after their protest with UPN was re-opened by the jury.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
