the regatta started with light shifting winds ranging from 2.9kts to 4.3kts. 6 Division A races, and 5 Division B races were completed. A protest in race 4A with Georgetown failing to keep clear of the Univ. of Miami boat under Rule 18.2b, resulting in Georgetown being DSQ.
In race 3B, Eckerd College protested Univ. of Miami, with Univ. of Miami being DSQ under Rule 10 Right of Way on Opposite Tacks (Port/Starboard).
On Sunday, strong winds, averaging 9.8 knots, in choppy seas, saw the the regatta starting with the rerunning of B Division, race 6, which was abandoned due to lack of wind on Saturday.
In race 9A, a Eckerd College protested Old Dominion Univ. under rule 11 On Same Tack, Overlapped, with the ruling being that ODU did not keep clear, and was therefore disqualified.
