St. Mary's College of MD Fall Interconference

Summary

Saturday, September 26:

Solid NE/N breezes from 8-18 knots made for fun racing. PRO Ian Liberty was assisted by many Seahawks and the racing was fun, fair and fast. Courses were W-3's and W-4's with offsets and gates. Ten races were completed in each division with two requests for redress of which one was granted. Georgetown leads heading into Sunday. At 4pm the competitors gathered for the Lipton Cup, the final ICSA/BUSA (British Universities Sailing Association) Cup Match of the 2015 BUSA American Tour. The British All-Stars jumped to an early 3-0 lead over the MAISA All-Stars in the 3v3 co-skipper format best of 7 series. With about 50 spectators on shore, the ICSA (MAISA) team battled back to win the next two, but in the end the British continued their dominance of the 2015 matches winning the Lipton Cup 4-2.

Sunday, September 27:

Slightly lighter air, but otherwise very similar race-day to Sat. One protest which was disallowed. Hoyas continued to roll and took the win.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
