Teams arrived at 11am to a nice northerly breeze, perfect for team racing. As soon as the first start fired off, the wind completely died and sifted to the south. A quick course adjustment later and the breeze completely shut off. After a short wait on the water, the predicted afternoon easterly began filling in. Half way through the 1st round the breeze and waves picked up considerably which caused a few capsizes. Before the 2nd round started the easily breeze backed off but again picked up half way through the second half of the round, maybe as high as 18-20 at times. The second round was completed just after 5pm.
