The day began with a partly sunny sky, 75 degrees, wind from the east, and sailors reporting at 0900. After rigging and a competitors meeting the fleet left the dock for racing in the bay. The RC set the .3nm course just outside the breakwater in 12-13kts, a gentle Corpus Christi breeze. Four races were run in the 1-2 ft. waves and steady breeze. The fleet was sent in for lunch, and returned to the bay at 1330 for another round of racing in a little more breeze, 13-14, puffs at 16 kts. Four more races followed with close competition and no protests. At 1530 the fleet was sent in for the afternoon with 8 combined races scored.
Sunday arrived with grey low clouds threatening rain that never arrived. The fleet left the dock at about 1000 for the 5 minute sail to the bay. A 75 degree breeze was from its usual direction at 135 degrees, 13-14 kts, with puffs at 16 met the racers on the course. The marks were set farther apart than Saturday for more opportunity to surf the 2-3 ft. waves. Two races were run in these conditions before the usual Corpus breeze kicked in for a Rough & Rowdy finale. Race eleven upped the challenge with 15 kts gusting 18, and race twelve brought the full Corpus experience with 17 kts puffing 20 kts. Waves were a full 2-4 ft. with excellent surfing. That concluded the racing and the RC sent the fleet in for a complete regatta. A special thank you to our RC and Corpus Christi Yacht Club for their work and hospitality.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
