The 2025 Ivan Geiger Trophy was held in 4-10 knot SSW and temps in the 50's. The format was a double round robin with the round robins intermixed so each team faced each other twice in a row before rotating. Racing began a little after 11 am and concluded at about 5pm.
Carter Brock and Mike Kanare ran the races with MIT Dockmaster Dan Tucker assisting with breakdowns. Matt Lindblad assisted with race course and shore duties. Thanks to MIT assistant coach Trevor Long and other coaches for hearing protests.
Boston College and Tufts tied for first with 12-2 records. BC wins on the tiebreak, going 2-0 vs the Jumbos when the tied teams met. Congratulation to the Eagles.
