Jeff Mixdorf Team Race

A breeze of 7-10knts filled in from the SSE just in time for racing, with shifty conditions requiring course adjustments multiple times throughout the day. A full round robin was completed, with 21 races finished by 4pm when racing was called for the day.

A forecast of snow deterred no one, and a breeze of 10-15knts filled in from the SE again for day 2, with dragging anchors and gusty and shifty conditions again requiring course adjustments multiple times throughout the day. Two rounds, top 3 and Bottom 4 were completed, with the tie between the top three teams standing even after another set of races! The wind died down considerably around 1:30pm and racing was called for the day at 2:00pm after completing the top 3 and bottom 4 rounds.

Thank you to the UO and UW sailing teams for making it up to Bellingham with 2 teams each! Thank you also to our alumni/volunteers Niko (PRO), Bayard, Zeke, Ron, Kaylee, Harry, and Giancarlo for running races. Congrats to Huskies 1 and 2 and Vikings 1 on your 3-way tie!
