Racing started slowly with winds ranging from 15-20 mph from the South and slowly clocking around to the North where it settled in the afternoon puffs reaching 25 mph. 10 races were completed in each division. There were 3 protests and 3 breakdown requests; all 3 protests were disallowed and all 3 breakdowns were granted.
Too much wind in the morning, all team representatives agreed to call racing with not much hope for racing for the day. Congratulations to NC State for winning the 2024 Hanbury Trophy!
