Open New England Fleet Race Championship

Summary

Saturday, April 29:

Hello Sailors! Connecticut College is very excited to host the NE Dinghy Open Championships. The Sailors showed up and the RC had already had a course set . The Breeze was ESE @ 4-12, the breeze shifted to E and SE throughout the day. Thank You to CC Women's Team that helped run races for their Teammates. Bob Lafranze and Moose McClintock for help judge. Many boats chose to only do 1 circle today when they fouled, Judges spoke to sailors between sets to explain they need to do 2 circles and protestors need to file protests with RC. Thanks to all that helped with our Senior Day Sailgate.

Sunday, April 30:

The Breeze was East today @ 3-8, at times it rotated to ENE with lots of outgoing current and rain from the CT hills. Thanks to Bob and Moose again today for judging. Thank You to URI for bringing a judge boat and Matt Peters for being the NEISA Rep. Many boats over early with sideways uphill current, most came back and cleared, some did not return and were angry at the RC. Congrats to Harvard for Winning the NE Dinghy open.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
