The teams reporting for the Owen, Mosbacher, Knapp Trophy Regatta were greeted by an established SW breeze of 10 knots and overcast skies. With agreement of all coaches in attendance, it was decided to complete the regatta in one day. Six morning races in FJ’s were held in 10-16 knot winds from the SW. After a civilized lunch break ashore from 1230-1330, the sun came out and six afternoon races in FJ’s were held in 12-20 knot winds from the south.
Races were 13-18 minutes in duration. No protests were filed. One breakdown was awarded.
Thank you as always to the USMMA midshipmen who gave up their weekend liberty to help run the event, and to all the teams in attendance for coming. Congratulations to the Vermont Catamounts on their win! - PRO, Rick Dominique

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
