Sailors arrived to a warm and sunny southerly at Herring Pond. 4 races were sailed in a 12 kt Southerly before lunch. Race 5 was sailed in similar conditions. The wind picked up halfway through race 6 to 15+ and many boats capsized. Unfortunately racing was called off because many boats required assistance to right their boats.
