The first three races were started around 1130 in a STRONG ebb with light NNE breezes that decreased during the set with boats not able to make it up current. After abandoning those races the fleet was sent in for a short break. A nice 8-12 knot Northerly filled in with round 1 starting at 1300. As the breeze increased the course was lengthened but the ebb was still strong. The second round was completed shortly before 1700 with 42 total races being sailed. Thank you to the umpire team led by CHUMP John Mooney. The Coast Guard Academy is happy to be finished hosting events this spring. Congratulations to the top four teams for qualifying for Team Race Nationals.
