Day one of the regatta began with a postponement of forty-five minutes due to low tide limiting the ability for the race committee boats to go out. At 1030 boats were able to go out with a nice 10-12 knots of breeze. Three rounds were completed and two protests were held at the end of the day. Thank you to the Eckerd and Yale coaches for holding the protest.
Day two was a bit warmer of a day and the breeze varying. With a shifty course and dropping breeze we are thankful the wind held long enough for the teams to complete their sixth round of the regatta. Congratulations to Yale for their strong performance this weekend. Huge thank you goes to both the Coed and the Women’s sailing team members for their race committee work. They ran an excellent regatta! We want to thank all the competitors for competing in the event this year. Safe travels and we will see you at the next regatta.
