April 6th, winds were light and variable under sunny skies. Two race sailed in A division and Day was called off after attempting a B division set. Sunny Skies!
Gorgeous SW wind built throughout the day from 5 to 18kts. Partly cloudy skies lead to excellent and varied racing conditions. 9 teams dropped to 6 by the last set on account of the higher winds and an injury. Winning home team Massachusetts Maritime. Special mention goes to Wellesley women for their sportsmanship of encouraging their competitors! Thanks to RC volunteer coach Jim Walker and Markboat help cadets Philbrook and Salano. Slogan for the day “Let’s make sailing fun again!”
