Southern New England Team Race

Sailors reported at 10:30 with a nice strong NE breeze. It shifted to the right and settled in at East 4-8 kts for the first round. As the day went on it Shifted to the SE 6-8 kts. We completed 2 full round robins for a total of 56 races. Big Thank you to the Camel undergrads that let us finish round 2 so that we can stay out on the cold on Sunday. NE teams also helped find umpires for this event. All Umpire calls were made on the water, yellow flags. At the end of 2 rounds Roger Williams and Connecticut College both had a 13-1 record, with no time for a Sail off and they were tied head to Head the RW Hawks win the Southern New England Team race by beating the Camels on total points. Congrats! Fun was had by all! See you in 2018 for the Warm up to the Team Race New England Championship being help on Connecticut College.
