Engineer's Cup

Saturday, May 13:

Races were postponed for approximately an hour in the morning while teams waited for the wind to fill in. Around 1030 teams left the beach in moderate rain that held for most of the day. Races were halted after the first B race of the third round.

Sunday, May 14:

In stark contrast to Saturday, Sunday was sunny and beautiful from the start. Teams got on that water just after 1000 and racing continued in slowly decreasing wind. In the afternoon, winds started decreasing steadily. After one A team race, the fleet was told to return to the beach to switch with B fleet to get one last race in. Unfortunately, a few minutes after 1400, the water off the Webb beach was consumed by a large hole of no wind and the final race was no completed, negating the scores from the previous A fleet race.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
