Due to flooding and storms racing was postponed until Sunday for safety.
With a beautiful early start on Sunday, the three teams: Tulane, Loyola of New Orleans, and Texas A&M College station, were met with shifty southerly of 6-8 knots that eventually swung around to the north at noon with a steadier north wind coming down across the lake. Both A and B fleets were sailed together in the interest of getting off races. Six races were sailed until a clear winner was decided and racing finished for the day. Always a big thanks to Southern Yacht Club for letting us utilize their facilities, and thank you to the teams that traveled through the storms to make it to New Orleans.
