BU Trophy

Saturday, March 29:

Six A Division races and four B Division races were held at the BU Trophy today. All courses were w-4's. Easterly wind ranging from 6-12 knots, were shifty at times. Light rain greeted the fleet in the early afternoon. Racing began late due to crew races on the Charles River in the morning. The Northeastern Huskies currently lead the event by 6 points over the Boston College Eagles. One redress was filed which will be heard on Sunday morning. A special thanks to BU sailor Cruz Riley for helping coach Stan Schreyer run the event.

Report time on Sunday morning is 9:30.

Sunday, March 30:

Sailors were greeted with cold rain on the second day of the BU Trophy. After a short wind delay racing started at 11AM with an 8-15 knot Northeasterly. Six B Division races and four A Division races were completed in either W4 or W6 courses. Congratulations to Northeastern for holding on to their lead from a charging Tufts team. There was one redress request which was disallowed. Thank you to all competitors, Solomon Tarlin, Alumni Janel Zarkowsky and the rest of the B.U.D.S.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
