Toni Deutsch '58 Trophy 2026

Summary

Saturday, September 12:

A great day of early Fall racing on the Charles with 10 races completed in each division. Fleet postponed briefly while the wind filled and first race began at noon. Wind was ESE from 5-12 with sunny skies and temps in the low 70’s.

A Div started in 420 with B in FJ’s and switched after 6th race.

No protests were filed but several 360’s and 720’s were observed. A few rule 42 warnings were issued and 2 flags.

Thanks to judges Jack Farrell and Mina Stanikić. RC help from Mike Kanare and Ali Keenan, with Dan Tucker as bosun.

Harvard leads going into tomorrow.

Sunday, September 13:

After several abandoned races, fleet was sent in to wait for wind. With tons of rain and little wind forecasted, the decision was made to send sailors home at 11am.

Congrats to Harvard for winning the 2026 Toni Deutsch ‘58 trophy!
