The initial course was set in the bay for the Women's ILCA, however steep low frequency waves made sailing hazardous. After a postpone to move the race course from the Bay to behind the breakwater, racing began at 1133. Races 1-6 were run in 22-26 kts of wind, waves less than 1 ft. Racing concluded for the day at 1354.
