SAISA Women's Singlehanded Championship

Summary

Saturday, September 12:

Competitors were held ashore after the skippers meeting due to a lack of wind. At 1100 the fleet was sent out and racing began in a light easterly of 4-5 kts, which increased to 8 kts by the end of race 5. After race 5 the breeze shifted right and the course was reset. Four more races were sailed in a 6-9 kt southeasterly, which completed the regatta. Congratulations to Bella Shakespeare of College of Charleston for winning the event and earning an automatic berth to the 2026 ICSA Women’s singlehanded nationals.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
