It was a beautiful fall day at Savin Hill Yacht Club for the Norman Reid Team Race.
Thirty races completed to finish a double round robin in 420s. Round 1 was sailed in an Easterly breeze of 4-5 knots. In Round 2 the breeze stayed consistent with the morning. A ebb tide ran through the whole day, which made current a major factor around the buoys and on the start line.
Thanks to Alex Cook (PRO), Brady Kennedy (Head Mark Set and Chief Scoring Officer), and Michael Sentovich (Assistant Mark Set and Scoring Officer) for race management and to Mike O’Connor for support on the water. Congratulations to the Tufts Jumbos on a 9-1 day! Roger Williams (7-3) and Brown (6-4) rounded out the top three.
No Protests were held.
