Monroe Mania was held at Lake Monroe Sailing Association in Bloomington, Indiana. The schools in attendance were: Grand Valley State University, Indiana University, Purdue University, and Western Michigan University.
There was an overcast Saturday and Sunday with the temperature at 64 degrees both days. Wind conditions ranged from 4 - 8 knots. Consistent with few gusts and wind was oscillating out of the north. Staff who participated in the event include: Walt Johnson - Manager of LMSA Andi Bueckle - US Sailing PRO Deaton Grove - Mark Boat
Seven races were run in both divisions. The races were in W2 format, no protests. Saturday, there was a leeward gate. On Sunday, it was changed to a single leeward mark.
