Fall Fury

Summary

Saturday, September 12:

The first day of Fall Fury had mild conditions, and we were able to get 6 races in A division and 4 in B division before the wind died. The breeze was light out of the West/ Northwest and dropped throughout the day. The morning was flat and around 7 knots, decreasing below limits at around 4:00. There was a redress hearing at 4:30 granting Wisco and Northern Michigan RDG for race 4A. Looking ahead to another light forecast with hopeful races in Sunday morning.

Sunday, September 13:

The second day of Fall Fury started out promptly at 9:30 AM with ~7 knot breeze from the North/ Northwest. We were able to complete 6 more races in B division, and 4 more races in A division thanks to good work by our PRO and mark set team.

We want to thank our PRO Jeff surles and our on site judges Fields Gunsett, Dean Drevlow and Afan Ottenheimer as well as virtual on call judge Paul Murray. We are also extremely grateful to all the volunteers that set aside time in their weekend to help the event run smoothly. Congratulations to Michigan on a successful weekend! Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
