Saturday in the redwood creek was a bit frustratingly slow to start. There was a sprinkling of breeze when things got started around 11:30 so it seemed reasonable that conditions would improve- we have had a very consistent 7-15 knots, without shifts starting around noon every day thus far this season. However, the first day of the Top-p Invitational proved atypical.
Racing finally began around 2:30, after hours of waiting, in 5 knot NNW conditions. Racing continued steadily until 5pm when the day was called. 8 races were sailed in each division.
