Light wind provided tricky sailing for the 4 races in A fleet and 2 in B fleet. The shifty southwest wind kept the race committee on their toes as they altered the courses accordingly. Even though racing ended early when the wind died down, spirits stayed high.
Races were postponed until the wind picked up around 11:30. B fleet went out first and got a few races in while the wind switched 180 degrees. The wind held for the next A fleet rotation then died down for the final B rotation, who only got one race in before the wind shut off. Thanks to the Eugene Yacht Club for providing a wonderful venue, to the race committee who ran great races despite the wind and to all the racers who came out to compete.
