War Memorial

Summary

Saturday, October 30:

Eight races were sailed in A division and six in B division. Courses were W4s and W3s. Breeze was unstable and puffy from the south to southwest with lulls to 4 knots and puffs in the upper teens. When the breeze was stable across the course there was typically a left shift and pressure off the golf course. Two protests resulted in DSQs as noted in the scores.

Sunday, October 31:

Four more races in A division and six races in B were sailed all on W4 courses. The morning started with a WSW 5-8, becoming 4-15 from the west. Breeze then lightened up before generally building from the WNW. As the day warmed up it became puffier, with puffs trending right. Two more protests were heard; one resulting in a DSQ. The racecourse was ably managed throughout the weekend by Michael Collins and a crew of Monarchs. The protest committee included Christine Accettella, Dreugh Phillips, Alex Ambrosi, and Mitch Brindley

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
