Sailors were greeted on day one of North North 2019 with really light breeze from the South. Race committee sent A fleet out and successfully got off two races in 3kts with puffs up to 6kts. B fleet went out as the breeze grew to 5kts. Race committee successfully got off one more set for A and sent sailors in for the day as the breeze died after A fleet's races.
Sunday started with about an hour of on shore postponement while sailors waited for the breeze to fill. At 10:30am, a growing 5kt southerly filled in and B fleet was sent out first. Throughout the day the breeze remained consistent with growing puffs of up to 7kts. Race committee completed 5 more full rotations before sending sailors in when the wind died at 4pm.
