Clouds and calm plagued Upper Mystic Lake nearly all day. The sky finally started to clear around 2:30 but too late to allow a sea-breeze to develop on Boston Harbor, run past the Charles, and up the Mystic Valley. After a 30-minute talk on crewing in the Bacow Sailing Pavilion, boats were put away for the day. Ten minutes later three horns were sounded at the Medford Boat Club ending any chance of Snipe racing as well.
