MCSA Fall Championship

Summary

Saturday, November 3:

Columbia played host to the MCSA Fall Championship, once again returning the event to the skyline of Chicago. We had a steady 6-10 knots all day out of the NNE to NE. L2 and W2 courses were run and we got in 8 A/B races. Special thank you to the Columbia Yacht Club staff for running a great regatta today.

Sunday, November 4:

Due to gale force winds of sustained 33 knots with gusts over 40 knots, racing was cancelled today. Congratulations to Wisconsin for winning the 2018 MCSA Fall Championship, and to Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota for receiving automatic berths to the 2019 MCSA coed and womens qualifiers.

Thank you again to PRO Katie Tinder, Ross Adams, John Hultquist, Chuck Nevel, Matt Arntzen, Séamus Scott, Erica Trejo, and all the staff at Columbia Yacht Club for being very accommodating and putting on a great regatta.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
