Sailors arrived at Lake Lansing early Saturday morning to cold temperatures and building winds. The Race Committee worked quickly to get off 3 rotations in each fleet before calling it a day around 3pm. The Ohio University Bobcats filed for redress in race 1B and received a breakdown after their hearing. Denison was unable to start either race in the second rotation of B fleet due to cold temperatures and a capsize. The collegiate sailors were happy to warm up with chili and a bit of sunshine as boats were packed up and everyone returned to campus.
Sunday morning brought warmer temperatures with little to no wind. After a bit of postponement the Race Committee was able to finish 4 races before the cut off time. Race 8B was abandoned before the finish due to light conditions and re-started. Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan Universities decided to head back to the U.P. early Sunday Morning and did not start any races on day 2. After packing up all the boats a short awards ceremony was held bringing the 2017 Cedarfest regatta to a close.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
